Darker than our fears, silently they flow_____
All our lives we have watched them, rising slowly higher___
A river of emotion moving toward a sea of dark desires_____ 

Still waters, running through the years
Fed by streams of sorrow from a rain of tears
The surface never let you see, the power that lay below
